Using high-precision servo controls, the machine positions the casting and cuts the sprue within millimeters of the product surface, minimizing the amount of material that needs to be ground off later.

Following cutting, the challenge is deburring. Complex sanitary shapes like shower mixers have internal contours that are hard to reach. Our Robotic Deburring Solutions utilize floating spindles that apply constant force. This "soft touch" allows the robot to follow the contour of the part, removing flash without gouging the base metal. This level of precision is critical for maintaining the tight tolerances required for the assembly of ceramic cartridges and valve components.
