Conventional abrasive tools often struggle to reach these recessed areas without damaging critical machined surfaces. Our robotic deburring cells feature pneumatically or electrically controlled floating spindles. This allows the deburring tool to maintain constant contact pressure against the caliper casting, compensating for dimensional variations in raw cast parts. This prevents over-cutting and ensures uniform chamfering.
To optimize cycle times, our machines can be configured with dual spindles or multi-station rotary tables. While one spindle performs heavy flash removal on the caliper body, the second spindle executes fine deburring on the seal grooves and bolt holes.
